Pak Khlong Talat
Pak Khlong Talat (ปากคลองตลาด) is the flower market on Chak Phet Road, Wang Burapha Phirom subdistrict, Phra Nakhon. The Thailand 2026 Annual Meetings site, a Government of Thailand page, says it sits at the mouth of Ong Ang Canal. It was once a place for unloading fruit and vegetables from outside the city, and in the late 1950s it became a flower market. That page calls it the largest wholesale flower market in Thailand and says it stays lively 24 hours a day, especially before dawn. Lanes also sell religious offerings and handicrafts, and garlands are strung by hand. Entrance is free. The time it suggests is 5:00 to 8:00 in the morning, and it warns that the floor can be wet from about 2:00 to 7:00.
Routes on that page: MRT Sanam Chai, exit 4 or 5, then about 400 metres on foot to Chak Phet Road. Chao Phraya Express Boat to Yodpiman Pier, about five minutes on foot, or Rajinee Pier, about ten minutes. Buses 8, 12, 42, 47, 53, and 82 along Maharaj Road and Chak Phet Road. It names https://www.tourismthailand.org as the official website, which is the Tourism Authority of Thailand home, not a page of this market alone.
The Market Organization of the Ministry of Interior describes the Pak Khlong vegetable and fruit wholesale market at 26-28 Chak Phet Road, Wang Burapha Phirom, Phra Nakhon, Bangkok 10200, established in B.E. 2496 (1953). It gives the email pr_pakklong@mo.or.th and the telephone 02-221-4865, and hours of Monday to Friday, 8.30 to 16.30. Those are the organization’s office hours, not the 24-hour flower trade on the Annual Meetings page. The two official pages do not describe the same clock. The opening hours above follow the flower market. The telephone and email are the Market Organization’s.
