Chatuchak Market
Chatuchak Market (ตลาดนัดจตุจักร) is a market in Chatuchak Subdistrict, Chatuchak District, Bangkok, listed by the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration Market Office as one of the markets under its care. The Market Office page for it gives a central telephone of 0 2158 0740-42 and embeds a map, but the page text does not print a street number. A Thailand 2026 government visitor page says the market began in 1938 as a government project for a central market for the people, first at Sanam Luang and later at its site in Chatuchak, and that it is also known to visitors as JJ Market.
That page says the whole market is open Saturday and Sunday 09:00–18:00, with some zones open on Friday afternoon, and that entry is free. It describes plant and pet stalls, an art and antiques area, a food area, a fashion area, and rare-book stalls.
Transport on that page is MRT Kamphaeng Phet Station Exit 2, BTS Mo Chit Station Exit 1, buses 3, 26, 96, 104, 122, 134, 136, 145, 157, and 509, market or Chatuchak Park parking, and the Chao Phraya Express Boat to Kiak Kai Pier followed by a taxi.
