Wat Ratchabophit Sathitmahasimaram
Wat Ratchabophit Sathitmahasimaram (วัดราชบพิธ) is a royal temple at 2 Fueang Nakhon Road, Ratchabophit subdistrict, Phra Nakhon, Bangkok 10200. The Tourism Authority of Thailand office in Japan says King Rama V built it in 1869, in the tradition of monarchs founding a temple to mark their reign. The page says Thai and Western forms are combined. The chedi decoration is covered in mosaic porcelain of five colours. The ordination hall is Thai in its architecture, and the interior has Gothic decoration that the page reads as a European influence. Windows and doors carry a fine inlay of pearl, and there is shallow relief.

A note points to the English Tourism Authority of Thailand page for Wat Ratchabophit Sathitmahasimaram. That English page did not load, so the facts here are the ones on the Japan page. No ticket price is printed, and none is invented. The route given is about 20 minutes by car from central Bangkok, or about 10 minutes on foot from MRT Sam Yot, Blue Line station BL30.
