Uncover Bangkok Through Art: The BAC Passport Returns for Summer 2025

Get ready to explore Bangkok in a new light as the BAC Passport returns for its third edition, launching June 1st. This special Summer 2025 edition features 25 curated art and cultural venues across the city—each inviting you to step into the heart of Bangkok’s vibrant rainy season through creativity, connection, and discovery.
Far more than a simple event guide, the BAC Passport is your key to navigating the city’s rich cultural landscape at your own pace. Whether you’re in search of contemporary art, immersive exhibitions, heritage crafts, film screenings, or live performances, the Passport offers something for everyone.
The program is divided into three main categories:
- Art Exhibitions: Explore contemporary installations, historical displays, design showcases, photography, architecture, sculpture, and traditional crafts.
- Stages & Screenings: Experience everything from “𝗞𝗛𝗢𝗡: Epic Thai Masked Performance” to “The Musical Plae Kao”, plus a lineup of Francophone and global films hosted at Alliance Française Bangkok.
- Festivals & Events: A rotating calendar of happenings around the city, perfect for spontaneous weekend plans.
Highlights include:
- “HOMECOMING” – A therapeutic, multi-sensory installation using immersive art to explore emotional well-being and self-compassion through light, sound, and touch.
- “Fan-tastic: Painting Thai-Style Fans” – A hands-on workshop introducing participants to traditional Thai fan painting techniques.
- “Music Talk” – A historical journey through London’s musical legacy, from the grandeur of court composers like Handel and Elgar to the revolutionary sounds of The Beatles and Britpop.
You can pick up your free BAC Passport at one of five host venues: 1010 Art Space, Bangkok Art and Culture Centre (BACC), River City Bangkok, MMAD, and Charoen 43. The program runs until mid-September, giving you plenty of time to visit, collect stamps, and uncover hidden gems across the city.
Step into the rhythm of Bangkok’s art scene this summer. See you on the trail!
