Thailand has secured another tourism success story, with Phuket ranked as Asia’s leading destination for hotels offering kids’ club facilities for family travellers this summer.
According to digital travel platform Agoda, Phuket topped a new list of Asian destinations with the highest availability of family-friendly hotels featuring kids’ clubs, highlighting Thailand’s continuing strength as a global family tourism hub.
The ranking places Phuket ahead of Goa in India, Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam, Bali in Indonesia, and Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia.
The recognition reflects Phuket’s growing reputation among international families seeking convenient and child-friendly holidays. Many of the island’s resorts offer dedicated kids’ clubs, children’s pools, supervised activities, and family entertainment programs designed to make travel easier for parents with toddlers and young children.
Agoda noted that kids’ clubs are increasingly important for families planning summer holidays, as they provide safe and engaging spaces for children while allowing parents time to relax.
Phuket’s combination of beaches, warm weather, water activities, and large family-oriented resorts helped the Thai destination secure the top position in Asia.
Family tourism remains a major contributor to Thailand’s travel industry, with Phuket continuing to attract visitors from across Asia, Europe, and the Middle East. In addition to beach activities, the island offers family-friendly attractions, including waterparks, cultural shows, island-hopping tours, and outdoor adventure experiences.
The Agoda report also highlighted other popular destinations for family holidays in Asia:
