One of the film’s standout locations is Khao Phanom Bencha National Park in Krabi, known for its dense jungle, limestone cliffs, and cascading waterfalls. The park’s Huai To Waterfall, a multi-tiered cascade surrounded by tropical flora, was featured prominently in several key scenes.

How to get there: Krabi International Airport is the main gateway, with direct flights from Bangkok and other regional hubs. From the airport, Khao Phanom Bencha is about a 45-minute drive. Visitors can hire a taxi or rent a car to reach the park, which offers well-marked trails and guided treks.

Trang: Island Escapes

The serene Koh Kradan in Trang was used as a backdrop for some of the film’s idyllic beach scenes. Its clear turquoise waters and untouched white sand made it the perfect setting for the island sequences in the movie.

How to get there: Fly to Trang Airport from Bangkok, then take a 45-minute drive to Khuan Tung Ku Pier in Kantang district. From there, a speedboat or long-tail boat will take you to Koh Kradan in around 30–40 minutes. The island is ideal for snorkeling, kayaking, and overnight stays in beachfront resorts.

Phang Nga: Iconic Limestone Seascapes

The majestic limestone karsts and emerald waters of Ao Phang Nga National Park set the scene for some of the film’s most visually striking moments. The park’s towering sea cliffs and hidden lagoons provided the dramatic prehistoric backdrop needed to bring the Jurassic world to life.

How to get there: From Phuket or Krabi, travelers can take a 1–2 hour road trip to Phang Nga town. Tours to the national park usually depart by boat from Ao Po or Surakul Pier. Day trips are readily available and include kayaking through sea caves and visits to nearby islands.

Off-the-Beaten-Path: Ao Luek and Ban Bakan

Less known to tourists but prominently featured in the film are Ao Luek district and Ban Bakan Village in Krabi. These areas showcase the quiet rural beauty of Southern Thailand, with limestone mountains, mangrove forests, and tranquil rivers. Their appearance in Jurassic World Rebirth is expected to attract travelers looking for a more authentic, crowd-free experience.

How to get there: From Krabi Town, Ao Luek is about an hour’s drive north. Ban Bakan can be reached via local roads, and visiting with a local guide or joining a community-based tour is recommended to get the most out of the experience.
