Bangkok Airways and Samui Airport have earned top honors at the Travel + Leisure Southeast Asia, Hong Kong & Macau Luxury Awards Asia Pacific 2025, placing them among the region’s most celebrated names in travel.
The boutique carrier secured ninth place in the Best Airlines category, while Samui Airport impressed voters by taking second place in Best Airports.
The prestigious awards, hosted at the Capella Bangkok this year, highlight excellence across the travel industry, with more than 300,000 readers, passengers, and travelers worldwide casting their votes. Categories span hotels, resorts, spas, airlines, airports, and more.
Accepting the accolades, Sutee Yongudomkit, Director of Sales Management at Bangkok Airways, described the recognition as “a source of great pride,” adding that it reaffirmed their “commitment to delivering full-service excellence as ‘Asia’s Boutique Airline’” and highlighted “Samui Airport’s dedication to providing warm, attentive service and a memorable travel experience.”
The Luxury Awards Asia Pacific were first introduced in 2023 to spotlight exceptional service providers across 14 countries. Nominees are curated by the editorial team and Travel + Leisure experts, with the final winners chosen directly by travelers, ensuring the results mirror the preferences of those who experience these brands firsthand.
