The 30th Book Expo Thailand is striking a fresh chord this year with the theme “Melody of Books.” Running from October 9 to 19 at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center, the event blends literature, music, and interactive experiences to reach a broader audience.

Hosted by the Publishers and Booksellers Association of Thailand (PUBAT), the fair is expanding beyond books to include live performances, art showcases, and multimedia installations. According to PUBAT president Nattakorn Vuttichaipornkul, the concept reflects how reading now spans formats—from physical books to podcasts, audiobooks, and digital platforms.
The expo will feature:
- Over 900 booths with 400 publishers and 2 million books.
- 2,000 new titles launching during the fair.
- A lively lineup of Thai musicians, singers, and artists, who highlight the creative crossover between music and literature.
- Family-friendly activities like a puppet show, a children’s reading space, and interactive exhibitions where text and sound meet.
Special highlights include the “View ’til Touch” exhibition, where visitors can experience stories through sound, and the Chommanard Awards 2025, spotlighting women’s literature across Southeast Asia.
PUBAT also announced social initiatives, such as scholarships for schools and fundraising campaigns to support literacy nationwide.
With more than 1.3 million visitors expected, the expo is positioned not just as a book fair but as a cultural festival that celebrates reading in all its forms.
The 30th Book Expo Thailand runs October 9–19, daily from 10:00 to 21:00, at Halls 5–7, Queen Sirikit National Convention Center.
