Benjakitti Park
Benjakitti Park (สวนเบญจกิติ) is a Bangkok Metropolitan Administration public park at Ratchadaphisek Road, Khlong Toei Subdistrict, Khlong Toei District, Bangkok 10110. The Greener Bangkok page describes it as a forest park of 450 rai in the center of the city, planned as a wetland forest that keeps 1,733 existing trees, adds 7,155 new ones, holds four ponds with up to 128,000 cubic meters of water, and includes more than 300 species of local plants.
It is open every day 04:30–22:00, with cycling 06:00–17:30. The service-fee line on the page is blank, so no admission price is recorded here. Listed activities are a 5.8 km nature walk, a 2.8 km running route, a 3.4 km cycling route, duck boats and kayaks, a playground, an indoor stadium, a grandstand, a rare-plant learning area, music in the park, benches, a dog park, support for older visitors, disabled access, toilets, parking, a 1.6 km skywalk, and a skateboard rink.
An old tobacco-factory warehouse is described as an indoor sports center for basketball, street basketball, badminton, futsal, table tennis, pickleball, and tekball, with courts reserved in advance. The page says the park is next to the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center and can be reached from the expressway via Phloen Chit to Rama IV Road, entering on Ratchadaphisek Road. It also mentions a Benjakitti Forest Park museum building opposite the parking lot, to the right of Gate 1 on the Ratchada side.
