The way we do our jobs has almost changed beyond recognition. The very tech-sounding ‘telecommuting’ has now morphed into ‘work from home’, which was then downsized to ‘WFH’. You know something has become very popular when it gets its own abbreviation.
So whether you’re a seasoned home worker looking for some cash or you’re attempting to regain that sense of freedom that Covid gave you a taste of, work your way down this list of sites for that digital-nomad lifestyle.
FlexJobs
Founded by a remote-work jobhunter, FlexJobs covers over 100 industries and has a good online reputation, with every job posting individually screened. Opportunities range from entry to executive level, with both part-time and full-time ones listed. Memberships start from USD 9.95 a week, with increased savings the longer you subscribe.
Indeed
Indeed is one of the more popular job-board websites. Although it advertises a lot of traditional jobs, you can find remote work in its database too. As well as job type, location and company, you can also search by salary estimate and experience level.
We Work Remotely
Billing itself as ‘the world’s largest community of remote workers’, We Work Remotely lists over 1,000 new positions each month. Advertised sectors include programming, design, marketing, sales and customer support.
Remote OK
Remote OK allows you to select from a list of technical and non-technical categories, or you can search for all jobs in a specific region. There is also a freelance directory so employers can find you according to the skills you’re offering.
Remotive
A place for ‘top talents’, Remotive provides access to fully remote opportunities posted by vetted companies. Jobs are searchable by over a dozen listed categories, such as software development, design, customer service, sales and marketing.
