If you’ve succeeded in keeping to a healthy vegan diet over Christmas, then you can congratulate yourself on having survived one of the most gastronomically tempting times of the year. Seasoned planteaters, though, will be aware of the vegan diet’s own particular challenge: the food is so nutritionally good that you just want to eat more and more of it, and you may have woken up on Boxing Day morning feeling that you really can have too much of a good thing.
So if Santa has left you with an emerging muffin top that you don’t remember putting on your wish list, get out the blender and whisk up one of the following post-Christmas cleansers to help you get back in shape.
Note: All of the recipes below serve one. For each recipe, place all of the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Enjoy!
