Organised by Klower°, Graphy Animation and a network of creative collaborators, SiamAnima serves as a platform for short films from Southeast Asia and beyond. The festival not only highlights innovation in storytelling and visual technique but also fosters cultural exchange, positioning Thailand as a hub for animation in the region.

The five-day festival kicks off with screenings of standout works from the 2025 programme, followed by a reception and an awards ceremony recognising independent talents shaping the animation world.

Festival highlights include:

  • Competition Screenings – a diverse line-up of short films from international creators.
  • Curated Programmes – selections from established filmmakers worldwide.
  • Hands-on Workshops – exploring experimental approaches to story, sound, and movement.
  • Exhibition Spaces – delving into the origins and evolving language of animation.

Adding to the experience, a weekend art market will showcase original creations by local artists. Visitors can browse zines, flipbooks, postcards, T-shirts, and handmade keepsakes, as well as enjoy storytelling sessions and illustrated books in the family-friendly corner.

SiamAnima doesn’t stop there, as the festival continues from September 15 to 21 with its second phase, expanding to Ang Thong and Chiang Mai. This stage features exclusive masterclasses led by world-renowned animators, plus screenings of feature films and additional shorts.
