Thailand Launches New One-Stop Investment and Visa Service

Thailand has introduced a new one-stop service center to streamline investment and visa procedures for foreign investors and expatriates.
On Monday, Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra inaugurated the Thailand Investment and Expat Services Centre (TIESC), located in the One Bangkok complex in the Pathum Wan district, near Lumphini Park at the intersection of Witthayu and Rama IV roads.
Situated on the 6th and 7th floors of the Parade Zone, TIESC is a collaborative initiative by the Board of Investment, Immigration Bureau, and Department of Employment. The center offers comprehensive support for investment, visa applications, and work permits.
Prime Minister Paetongtarn emphasized that leveraging modern technology and digital innovation to facilitate investment is a top government priority. She noted that Thailand is undergoing a significant economic transition, with investment applications reaching a 10-year high in 2023: 3,100 projects valued at THB 1.1 trillion in total.
Beyond its role as a service hub, TIESC aims to foster cultural connections and enhance business opportunities between Thailand and other nations. The prime minister also extended condolences to victims of the recent earthquake and reassured the public that Thailand remains a safe and stable destination for investors and tourists.
