Art-toy collectors, contemporary-art enthusiasts, and fans of original character design have a unique opportunity to explore a major international creative event in Bangkok this week.
The first-ever International Creative & IP Art Fair (The POP 2026) is taking place at CentralWorld Pulse on the seventh and eighth floors of CentralWorld in Bangkok from Thursday. Running daily from 10:00 to 22:00 through Sunday, the event brings together artists, galleries, designers, and creative studios from around the world.
Organized by the Bangkok Contemporary Art Fair under the theme “Safe To Bloom,” the exhibition aims to strengthen Bangkok’s reputation as a leading destination for international creative collaboration. More than 60 artists, studios, and galleries from 12 countries are participating in the four-day showcase.

Unlike a traditional art-toy market, The POP 2026 focuses on original intellectual property (IP), character creation, and storytelling. The event provides a platform for artists and creators to connect with collectors, brands, media companies, and licensing partners while showcasing their unique creative worlds.
Visitors can discover works from internationally recognized names, including Space Rabbit Studio from the United States, Hong Kong’s Fools Paradise and Unbox Industries, Japanese artist Takuma Fujisaki, Indonesia’s popular Tahilalats creative brand, and Taiwanese artist Fumeancat.
Thailand’s creative community is also strongly represented, with artists such as Tum Ulit, Nual the Dog, Panpan Yeeyee, Knn Five, and Cheesy Duck appearing alongside a selection of emerging local talent.
One of the event’s standout attractions is “Blooming In Silence – A Cat Among Singing Plants,” a solo exhibition by Taiwanese illustrator Chen Yu-Lin. Known for artwork inspired by nature, culture, and environmental themes, Chen’s exhibition combines illustrations, ceramics, dried flowers, and carefully curated furniture to create an intimate and reflective space.
In addition to the exhibitions, visitors can enjoy screen-printing workshops, a blacklight art experience, artist talks, autograph sessions, live wood-carving demonstrations by artist Henky, prize giveaways, and a mini concert by Thai band Slur.
Admission to the International Creative & IP Art Fair is free, making it an accessible cultural event for both Bangkok residents and visitors looking for things to do in the city this week.
