Singapore’s acclaimed design fair, Boutiques Singapore, is making its international debut with Boutiques Asia: The Bangkok Edition 2026, taking place at Iconsiam from July 24 to 26, 2026.

Founded in 2002 by Charlotte Cain, Boutiques Singapore has built a reputation for showcasing independent, design-led brands while helping emerging creative businesses grow. Supported by Enterprise Singapore, the event focuses on quality craftsmanship, originality, and meaningful connections between designers and shoppers.

The Bangkok edition will feature more than 120 curated brands from Singapore, Thailand, Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Hong Kong. Visitors can browse fashion, jewelry, accessories, beauty products, home décor, lifestyle goods, and specialty food brands, including more than 70 products launching in Thailand for the first time.

Cain said Bangkok was selected as Boutiques’ first overseas destination because of its thriving creative scene, strong shopping culture, and international appeal, as well as its incredible energy and a community that appreciates great design.

Every participating brand is carefully selected for originality and quality. A key requirement is that founders or designers must attend the event in person, allowing visitors to learn directly about the inspiration and craftsmanship behind each product.

The event will also encourage business connections, giving retailers and buyers an opportunity to discover emerging Asian brands while helping designers expand into new markets.

Featured exhibitors include Singapore’s Tow Tow, known for customizable leather bags; Days of Ever, which creates sculptural modular jewelry; Sunnysde, offering handcrafted glass jewelry; and Aomorie, whose clothing incorporates innovative materials, such as coffee leather. Japanese design studio Cement Produce Design will also present products created in collaboration with traditional artisans.

Cain believes today’s consumers are becoming more selective with their purchases, making craftsmanship and storytelling increasingly important. Boutiques Singapore’s philosophy, she said, was “Buy less, but buy better.”
