Bangkok has once again cemented its reputation as one of Asia’s premier destinations for cocktails and nightlife, with eight establishments earning places on the prestigious Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2026 list. The annual awards ceremony, held at Wynn Palace in Macau, recognized some of the region’s most innovative cocktail destinations, with Thailand’s capital delivering another standout performance.

Thailand’s Top-Ranked Bars

Several Bangkok venues received top honors across the rankings, reflecting the city’s diverse and evolving cocktail scene.

Dry Wave Cocktail Studio secured Thailand’s highest position at No. 4, while Bar Us finished at No. 6 and received the Best Sustainable Bar Award, recognizing its commitment to environmentally responsible practices.

Lennon’s made an impressive debut, earning the Highest New Entry Award with a No. 7 ranking. Sharing the same position was Bar Sathorn, which achieved the Highest Climber Award after soaring from No. 48 in last year’s rankings.

Other Bangkok bars featured in the top 50 include:

  • BKK Social Club – No. 20.
  • Opium – No. 25, climbing significantly from No. 43 in 2025.
  • G.O.D – No. 31.
  • Aqua – No. 48, making its first appearance on the list.

Bangkok Bars Ranked 51–100

Thailand’s presence extended beyond the top 50, with several additional Bangkok venues appearing in the expanded 51–100 rankings.

These included:

  • Vesper – No. 56.
  • Messenger Service Bar – No. 69.
  • Mahaniyom Cocktail Bar – No. 76.
  • Firefly – No. 78.

The extended rankings highlight the depth and variety of Bangkok’s bar scene, offering visitors an abundance of acclaimed venues to explore beyond the headline winners.

Asia’s Best Bar for 2026

Claiming the top position in this year’s awards was Hope & Sesame in Guangzhou, which was also recognized as Best Bar in Mainland China.

Second place went to Zest in Seoul, earning the title of Best Bar in South Korea, while Bar Leone in Hong Kong secured third place and was named Best Bar in Hong Kong.

With multiple award winners spanning every style, from intimate cocktail studios to luxurious hotel lounges, Bangkok continues to strengthen its position as one of Asia’s leading nightlife capitals. Whether visitors are seeking inventive signature cocktails, sustainable bartending, or internationally acclaimed drinking destinations, the city offers an exceptional range of experiences recognized among the continent’s very best.
