Thailand’s national tourism app is getting a major upgrade. The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) has announced that the enhanced Amazing Thailand mobile app will be available for public download across the country starting March 15, 2026.
The revamped platform is part of Thailand’s push to strengthen its digital tourism ecosystem. Developed in partnership with global payments company Mastercard, the app aims to help travelers plan, explore, and spend more easily while visiting the country.
According to TAT Deputy Governor for Digital, Research and Development Kittipong Prapatthong, the improved app is designed to make the travel experience smoother from start to finish while supporting local businesses and communities throughout Thailand.

AI-powered travel assistance
One of the app’s key new features is an AI-powered chatbot that provides real-time travel assistance. Visitors can receive personalized recommendations, local tips, and practical guidance during their trip.
The platform also introduces Mastercard Priceless experiences, offering curated Thai activities, food tours, and special privileges across both major cities and lesser-known destinations.

Planning tools and travel information
The updated app works as an all-in-one travel planner. Users can:
- Build personalized itineraries
- Discover places to stay, eat, shop, and explore
- Access safety information
- Find details about VAT refunds for tourist shopping
The goal is to help travelers discover more destinations across Thailand while encouraging longer stays and wider spending in local communities.
Supporting Thailand’s tourism economy
Through the collaboration between TAT and Mastercard, the platform combines tourism expertise with digital technology and travel data insights. Officials say the system will guide visitors toward a broader range of experiences, from accommodations and restaurants to cultural events and local attractions.
The enhanced Amazing Thailand app will be available for download on the App Store and Google Play starting March 15, 2026.
