A short five-minute trudge along the sand from The Regent Cha-Am Resort, the picture-perfect bOnnie on the beach, with its chic, minimalistic design, is as much a photo opportunity as it is a refreshment stop. Shakes at bOnnie are milk- or cream-based, but there are plenty of alternative beverages on the menu. And for an extra THB 30, you can have soy, almond or oat milk with your coffee. There are a dozen or so seats both inside and outside, or cushions for those that prefer to be at grass level. With the sound of the waves gently breaking a few feet away and lively jazz playing from an overhead speaker, the focus at bOnnie is firmly on chilling out.
