Yaowarat (Chinatown)
Yaowarat (เยาวราช), Chinatown, is the road TAT Japan lists as China Town (Yaowarat), in Chakkrawat, Samphanthawong. The page gives no house number, because this is a street rather than one building. It calls Yaowarat one of Asia’s gold-shop streets. Gold counters line the road, and the page says the street turns bright at night. It also points to bird’s-nest soup and shark fin in the Chinese restaurants, and to street food, sweets, and roasted chestnuts while you walk.
Song Wat, which TAT Japan says is within walking distance, is the other stop it names, for a meal, a cafe, or a souvenir. For the train, it says Wat Mangkon station on the Blue Line is right there, and Hua Lamphong station is about a 15-minute walk. The page prints no hours, no ticket, no telephone, and no email, so those fields are blank. A street does not have a gate. The map pin is a Wikidata point on Yaowarat Road, not a particular shop.
