Wondered what the mosquito situation is like in Bangkok. Are they a big problem there?

Yes, they like very much parks, gardens, and water. You must use repellent.

Definitely mosquitoes here, but being based away from water would help, so I guess if you’re staying near a canal in Bangkok, it wouldn’t be ideal. I personally haven’t had that much of a problem with them here though.

You can buy the electric tennis racket for mosquitoes. It is very easy to use!

You’ve gotta watch the outdoor bars, as they can attract mozzies at night. Apart from that, I’ve never found mosquitoes to be that big of a problem in Bangkok.

I think it's important to say that the rainy season can all bring the mosquitoes.

Dengue fever is a concern here. Try to cover up as much as possible and don’t leave windows open at night.
