The Thailand International Boat Show is set to make a high-profile return to Phuket, reinforcing the island’s reputation as one of Southeast Asia’s leading luxury-lifestyle and marine destinations.
Taking place at Phuket Yacht Haven Marina from January 15 to 18, the event arrives just as Phuket moves into its busiest tourism period of the year. The four-day showcase is supported by the Ministry of Tourism and Sports, the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), and Phuket Province, underlining its importance to Thailand’s tourism and marine industries.

Positioned at the intersection of boating, luxury living, travel, and real estate, the Thailand International Boat Show attracts a global audience of yacht owners, industry professionals, high-net-worth visitors, long-stay residents, and second-home buyers. The 2026 edition is expected to feature an expanded range of international and regional marine exhibitors, highlighting Thailand’s growing status as a hub for yacht ownership and marine tourism in Asia.
Major yacht manufacturers will be represented, with well-known brands such as Beneteau, Prestige Yachts, Sunreef Yachts, Gulf Craft, and Excess confirmed to appear. Multihull specialists, including Fountaine Pajot, Leopard Catamarans, Lagoon, and Max Cruise Marine, will also be on display, offering visitors a broad view of the latest designs and innovations in sailing and power catamarans.
One of the standout moments for regional buyers will be the Asian debut of the Aquila 42 Coupe. Presented by Primus Marine, the premiere gives attendees the opportunity to view the model for the first time in Asia, reinforcing the show’s role as a launch platform for new yachts entering the regional market.

Phuket’s rise as a preferred destination for superyachts continues to shape the event. The island’s sheltered cruising grounds, improving marina facilities, and lifestyle appeal have made it increasingly attractive to large-yacht owners and charter operators. Reflecting this trend, the 40-metre superyacht SeaBear — formerly owned by golfing legend Jack Nicklaus — will be a centrepiece at the Superyacht Lounge. Hosted by Kata Rocks Superyacht Rendezvous, the vessel’s presence highlights Phuket’s growing role as a base for superyachts in Thailand.
The show extends well beyond boats and yachts. A strong focus on property and lifestyle investment reflects Phuket’s appeal as a second-home destination. Developers such as Redwood Luxury Development, ABOV Patong, and Reignwood Park will join premium lifestyle brands to showcase residential projects and services aimed at buyers seeking to combine property ownership with boating, dining, and leisure experiences.

This crossover between marine, real estate, and lifestyle sectors mirrors a broader trend in Phuket, where international visitors are increasingly choosing to invest, relocate, or spend extended periods on the island.
Complementing the exhibition is the Thailand Yachting Conference, scheduled for January 14 at The Slate resort on Nai Yang Beach. The conference brings together industry leaders, marina operators, investors, and policymakers to discuss the future of boating, marine tourism, and the wider economic opportunities linked to the yachting sector in Thailand.
As Phuket continues to position itself as a luxury-lifestyle and marine-tourism hub, the return of the Thailand International Boat Show reinforces the island’s global profile and its long-term appeal to both visitors and investors.
