Thai fans are in for a major K-pop moment as Taeyong, leader of NCT, returns to Thailand for his first-ever solo concert in the country. The highly anticipated “2026 Taeyong Concert In Bangkok” will take place on March 28 and 29 at Thunder Dome.
The two-night event promises to celebrate more than a decade of Taeyong’s artistic evolution, featuring elevated performances and upgraded stage production designed to deliver a fully immersive live experience.
A Decade of Growth and Global Impact
Taeyong debuted with NCT in 2016 and quickly established himself as one of K-pop’s most versatile performers. Known for his commanding rap style, distinctive vocals, and sharp choreography, he has played a central role in the success of NCT’s various sub-units, including NCT U and NCT 127.
Beyond performing, Taeyong has consistently demonstrated his creative range. Over the years, he has contributed to songwriting, composing, and choreography across numerous major releases, shaping NCT’s evolving sound and concept identity.
Establishing a Solo Identity
In June 2023, Taeyong officially launched his solo career with his first mini-album, Shalala. The project showcased his bold artistic vision and unique musical color. He followed it up in February 2024 with his second mini-album, Tap, further solidifying his individuality as a solo artist.
Notably, Taeyong took full responsibility for the lyrics on every track of his solo releases, delivering messages centered on confidence, self-expression, and personal growth. For his first solo concert in Seoul in early 2024, he curated the entire setlist using songs he personally created — an impressive statement of artistic ownership.
The Seoul shows sold out immediately, including limited-view seats, confirming his powerful connection with live audiences.
A Remastered Concert Experience in Bangkok
The upcoming Bangkok concert reimagines his original solo production in an enhanced format. From the music and setlist to choreography and stage design, every element has been refined to offer fans an even more intense and immersive performance.
