Bangkok will shine bright this October as the Amazing Thailand Grand Diwali Festival 2025 lights up Phahurat (Little India) and Khlong Ong Ang from October 16 to 31. Organized by the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) with public and private partners, the event celebrates Thai–Indian friendship through light, art, food, and shared traditions under the theme “Light Unites Us.”

TAT Governor Thapanee Kiatphaibool said the festival honors the long-standing ties between Thailand and India while showcasing Bangkok’s multicultural spirit. It also aims to attract more Indian visitors and boost local tourism.
The opening ceremony on October 19 will feature a grand candle-lighting ritual, sound-and-light show, and a Thai–Indian Ramayana performance blending classical and Bollywood dance. A colorful “Grand Procession of Exquisite Radiance” will follow, with illuminated floats, music, and dancers symbolizing unity between the two nations.
