Little Govinda’s vegetarian restaurant, Krabi, Thailand

As its name suggests, Little Govinda’s is a dinky Indian diner, and one of the few vegetarian joints in town. As such, it’s a gem of a find, which you could easily miss, hidden away as it is up a narrow alley off the main beachfront road. With its secluded spot, its colour and Indian influence, Little Govinda’s momentarily transports you from the hordes of shirtless tourists in the main street to a little sanctuary of healthy food and attentive service. Its size allows room for no more than half a dozen little wooden tables, lined against the wall and facing the alleyway. Although Govinda’s Indian theme is truly reflected in its menu, with a wide selection of curries and masalas, the restaurant also serves a variety of burgers, wraps and sandwiches.
