im planing a holiday to Thailand this year (first time).When is the best time to go?

Nov to Feb is always a good time as it's cooler in Thailand then.

Yes, the dust here is very serious at the moment. You should wait some weeks before you come to Bangkok.

There are various causes. It happens throughout the year but is worse from January to May.

Dust situation aside though, Jan/Feb is definitely the best time if you’re not a fan of the heat or humidity. But if it’s a good party you’re after, I’d say April, coz youve got Songkran, Thailand's water festival.
