Hi, do I need to go back to my main branch to change my passport details? They just need to see my new passport, right?

In my experience, you can change your passport details at any bank branch, but they will need to see the old passport too (as well as your new one).

Yeah, they’ll ask to see the bank book as well, but that’s pretty much standard for banks here.

I heard it’s more hard to do in Bangkok Bank.

It was a breeze for me at Bangkok Bank (maybe it depends on the branch), but Krungthai was the strict one (they wanted at least 3 bits of ID from what I remember).

Just to add that, in my experience, Krungthai will accept a TM30 as a form of ID.
