How’s the weather in London, England this time of year? Will it be very cold and raining a lot? Will it be more warm in the south of England?

Yeah, the nice autumn weather is slipping away now and you can expect much colder days. There's not much difference in temperature if you go further south. Some days are rainy, some not.

Yes, I believe the clocks go back this Sunday too, so the evenings will be darker there.

I'd say daytime temperatures average around 10 degrees centigrade in the UK at this time of year. Some days are in the mid-teens. It can get down to 6 or lower at night.
